Tea Talk

artificial flavours, colours & preservatives

Good afternoon,

Can you please advise if your regular black tea bags contain any artificial based compounds. My daughter drinks a lot of tetley tea, quite simply because she likes the taste.

However Casey is allergic to sulphites & everything unnatural & breaks out in mouth ulcers whenever she consumes these nasties.
Can you please advise if the tea or the bag itself contains any chemicals.
Your prompt reply would be greatly appreciated.

Kind regards &
thank you,

Kerrie Thorpe

Comments:

  • The tea itself does not contain artificial ingredients The tea bag itself will contain some artificial materials which are compliant with food safety laws, but most of these are derived from natural materials such as wood pulp/cellulose. There are no sulphites present in either the tea or tea bag.
