Tea Loaf

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups Sultanas
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup Tetleys black tea
1 1/2 cups self raising flour
1 egg

Directions
  1. 1. Place sultanas and sugar in bowl and pour tea over them.
  2. 2. Leave to stand overnight
  3. 3. Stir in sifted flour and egg, mixing well with a wooden spoon.
  4. 4. Bake at 180 degrees C in a greased and floured loaf tin for 40 to 50 mins.
  5. 5. Leave in tin to cool before turning out.
