Tetley Green Tea Fresh Herb Ricotta Spread

Ingredients

2 bags Tetley Green Tea
1 cup (250ml) ricotta cheese
1/2 tsp (2ml) finely grated lemon zest
1/4 tsp (1ml) each salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 tbsp (25ml) finely chopped fresh basil
2 tbsp (25ml) finely chopped fresh chives
Crostini or crackers and vegetable dippers

Directions
  1. Remove tea leaves from Tetley Green Tea bags and place in bowl. Stir in ricotta, lemon zest, salt, perrper, basil and chives. For an extra creamy spread, puree the ricotta and tea leaves in a food processor until very smooth.
  2. Cover and refrigerate.
  3. Serve with crostini or your favourite crackers and vegetable dippers
  4. TIP: You can prepare this delicious spread up to one day ahead.
